Each painting is born from an ancestral gesture: raw pigments rubbed onto stone, like an echo of the first creators. The material expresses itself, telling of origins, humanity, and mystery.
Once the work is complete, it continues to vibrate in another way. Through its textures, forms, and energy, it speaks to me of its own music. A sound universe composed as an emotional extension of the painting. The painting becomes sound. The canvas becomes voice."

CHAL (Fabrice Goguet-Chapuis) is a French artist born in Chambéry, who merges painting and music to create unique immersive works.
Since the age of 14, he has been composing, driven by a deep fascination with the interactions between sound and image.
His journey naturally led him to explore drawing, painting, sculpture, and to found in 2010 Chal Bandes Originales, a music creation studio for audiovisual media, cinema, and live performance.
He collaborates with prestigious brands such as Porsche, Orange, Salomon, Hasbro, as well as luxury watchmaking houses Harry Winston, Piaget, Jacquet Droz…
